What Not to Wear to an Interview

What Not to Wear to an Interview

That big interview is definitely not the place to show up wearing that mini black dress, or that blouse that plunges to the point of no return for ladies. Men should also be careful about not forgetting to remove that nose pierced look as well as the extra five earrings on the ears.

What not to wear to an interview is basically yesterday’s laundry. If you show up at an interview wearing something that looked like it either needs ironing, or even worse, looks like it needs a good washing from last week – that will not land that job.

Interviewers are very observant, and keep in mind that this is their job – to listen, to watch your every movement, to know if you lied on that resume, or if you even know what you’re saying. The more distractions they find in your attire, the less respect you might get throughout that entire interview, if it even pushes through at all after the eyesore that the interviewer has to endure! So please, ladies and gentlemen, keep the slippers at home, the torn fashionable jeans in the closet, and borrow something from Mom, Dad, or the elderly folks next door, if you really have to be sure to get that fighting chance at the job of the century.
